Catalog Press

Privacy policy

Effective 7 October 2026

Catalog Press is a Shopify app made by Nikao Industries (Pune, Maharashtra, India) that creates PDF catalogs, line sheets and order forms from a merchant's products. This policy explains what information the app uses when a merchant installs it, and how that information is handled.

Information the app accesses

The app does not access your customers, orders, or your customers' personal information, and it cannot change anything in your store.

Information the app stores

Product information is read from Shopify when you generate a PDF and is not kept separately from the PDFs.

How information is used

Only to provide the app: generating and storing your PDFs, showing your settings, applying your plan's limits, and providing support when you contact us. We do not sell information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers below.

PDF links

Each generated PDF has a private link with a long random code. Anyone you give the link to can open that PDF. Deleting a catalog deletes its PDFs and their links stop working.

Service providers

The app, its database and your generated PDFs are hosted by Fly.io (servers in the United States), which processes this data on our behalf under its own security and confidentiality commitments. Payments for paid plans are handled entirely by Shopify; we never see your payment details.

Retention and deletion

Your rights

Depending on where you are, laws such as the EU/UK GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act give you rights to access, correct and delete personal data. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the app's database and files is restricted to the people who operate the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
